Our portal cranes which are commonly known as port cranes can be equipped with grab buckets and lift hooks to meet different requirements on handling different heavy materials like containers, bulk and sundry cargos, shipbuilding factory, etc.
The whole entity consists of hoisting, rotating, amplitude and travelling mechanism, which may work respectively or together. The portal crane may extent its movement along the parallel track set. Due to the crane duty varies, crane with rigid double lever jib (four-boom portal cranes shown in the above picture) or single boom (single-boom portal cranes) pulley-block luffing gear system is recommended.
